A secret life is the one thing they have in common. At school, Hori is a prim and perfect social butterfly, but the truth is she’s a brash homebody.
The story follows the endearing duo, Kyouko Hori and Izumi Miyamura, as they navigate the ups and downs of high school life and their blossoming romance. Hori, known for her popularity and academic achievements, hides her true self at school while taking care of her younger brother and managing household chores. Miyamura, on the other hand, is seen as a brooding, glasses-wearing otaku, but he reveals his gentle nature and hidden piercings and tattoos to Hori when they meet outside of school.
it is jarring to have skits focused on one type of romantic tension, only to shift into a different type of romantic tension. Thankfully, after the first episode, that no longer seems to be the case.
